ABB is a leading provider of industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems and services, with over 300,000 robots installed worldwide. ABB Robotics offers a wide range of industrial uses for robotic welding, material handling, assembly, painting, finishing and coating, removal equipment, packaging (collection, packaging and palletizing) and machine tending applications.
Robots, in recent years, have evolved and become anthropomorphic, increasing more and more degrees of freedom, precision, speed and load capacity. In the industrial field, robots carry out accurate processes such as welding, drilling, milling, painting and laser cutting and are equipped with very precise vision systems.

Unlike simple sensors, vision sensors generate a large number of image data, proving their usefulness in the Industry 4.0 environment.
